The majority of financial advisers are lukewarm on the prospects for the UK economy according to Skandia’s new Adviser Confidence Barometer. 1,700 financial advisers took part in the study and 67% rated their confidence in the UK economy at between four and six on a scale of one to ten, with ten being most confident. The average confidence score was 5.3 out of ten, with only 5% of advisers being very confident about the UK economy with a score of eight or above out of ten.
