Skandia is preparing to increase the Single Investor Charge via its Skandia Investment Solutions platform in order to enhance the administration services it provides to customers within a sustainable business model. The annual charge will increase from £52.32 to £68.50 which raises the annual platform cost by 0.025% of fund value for the typical Skandia customer*. The increase takes effect from 14 June 2011 and the charge will then be frozen until at least June 2013.

81% of financial advisers believe with-profits bonus rates will either decrease or remain the same compared to last year, according to a new poll* conducted by Skandia.  49% of respondents think bonus rates would be the same this year as last year and 32% think they will decrease.  Only 19% think there will be an increase in with-profits bonus rates this year.
