Managing the fund managers
Skandia Investment Group works to the premise that no single investment management company can ever be the best in all areas at all times. Instead of managing investments directly, its global research teams identify what it considers to be the best external fund managers and outsources the management of funds to them. Skandia Investment Group carries out an ongoing evaluation and selection process examining their philosophy, people, process and their performance.
Once selected, fund managers are constantly monitored and reassessed to ensure they remain best suited to fulfil their role. If fund managers veer from their investment brief, consistently fail to meet expectations, or if a more suitable fund manager is identified, they can be rapidly replaced.
