Our strength is in our numbers

In 2013, we processed over 1 million trades worth £33.25 billion, the largest number of trades by any company in the UK. We have a robust business model with positive net client cashflow for Old Mutual Wealth of £2.3 billion in 2013, resulting in an adjusted operating profit of £217 million.

Unlike more traditional insurance companies, we rarely rely on borrowing. We also have very limited exposure (under 0.2%) to with-profit and guaranteed products, which greatly reduces solvency risk from market declines. Being a part of Old Mutual plc, a FTSE®100 listed company, further underpins our financial strength.
